Acceptable use policy
Bryghton Media LLC · Effective October 1, 2026
This policy is part of the Click to Cockpit Terms of Service.
Click to Cockpit sends texts, emails and calls in your school’s name, through phone carriers and email systems that judge every sender on our platform. One account breaking the rules can get numbers and email blocked for everyone. So these rules apply to every account and every team member.
Messaging rules
Don’t use Click to Cockpit to:
- Text or call anyone who hasn’t agreed to hear from your school (for example, with the consent box on your form) or contacted you first.
- Upload or message bought, rented, shared, scraped or cold lists, or numbers pulled from websites, directories or social media.
- Keep texting someone who replied STOP or asked you to stop in any way, or add them back without fresh consent.
- Text or call outside quiet hours (default 9 am to 8 pm in the recipient’s local time) or more often than is reasonable.
- Hide who you are: every first message must identify your school.
- Send content about cannabis, firearms, gambling, high-risk loans, debt relief, adult content, or other content carriers don’t allow, or anything misleading (for example, fake urgency, false prices, "guaranteed" airline jobs or pass rates you can’t back up).
- Use public URL shorteners (like bit.ly) in texts; use your own domain or the links Click to Cockpit provides.
- Record calls without telling the other person when recording is on.
- Send marketing email without your real postal address and a working unsubscribe link, or with a misleading From name or subject.
Data rules
Don’t store in Click to Cockpit: Social Security numbers, FAA medical details, passport, citizenship or TSA documents, license or certificate scans, full birth dates, card or bank numbers, or health information. Don’t upload information you don’t have the right to use.
Security and fair-use rules
Don’t:
- Share logins, or try to get into another school’s data or any part of the system you aren’t allowed in.
- Probe, scan or load-test the service, or get around limits, without our written OK. (Found a security problem? Email bryghton@bryghtonmedia.com; we’re grateful for responsible reports.)
- Copy, resell, or reverse-engineer Click to Cockpit, or use it to build a competing product.
- Upload malware, or use the service for anything illegal, harassing or abusive.
- Use AI features to impersonate a real person, to deny being automated when sincerely asked, to give aviation-safety, medical, legal or financial advice, or to send messages a person hasn’t reviewed where the law requires a human.
What happens if the rules are broken
We may pause messaging, suspend the account, or remove content, and we may cooperate with carriers or authorities. Where we reasonably can, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it. Serious or repeated abuse (especially spam) can end the account without a refund. Carrier fines or fees caused by your messages are yours to pay (Terms, section 11). Not acting on a violation doesn’t mean we allow it.
